Good Day with the XL Pro:clapping:

Today I went to a park I have hunted several times Before with a lot of trash. I used my XL Pro with the 9.5 coil. I just couldn't believe my luck when in a short space I hit a 1963 Quarter, 1958 Dime, 1953 Wheatie and a 1953 Nickle. I know I had been over this area before with my DFX, XL Pro and when I had a MXT.
Coins were at the 4-5 inch mark. I have used all kinds of coils at this park. Today was the first day with the 9.5 coil. I guess this just goes to show you no park is ever hunted out:beers:

Way to be.......Craig

TWO Silvers, wheaty and a nickle in a well worked park........nice! Seems the 950 coil is work'n for ya, but I wonder what the 5.3 coil would do in the same place.
Good hunt!

Randy

Hi Tinfoil

I agree with you on that, and if he gets the Bill Lahr/ Mrand tone mode done it's even better! Four tones running GEB SAT is just the ticket in the trash.

I have the Jimmy sierra 6" Excelarator coil, which I have excellant results with in trashand under Power lines . I was just lazy that day and left the stock coil on :sleepy:!
Hey I am also getting the tone mods, just waiting for my Daughter to ask me what I want for my Brithday next month! I have been in contact with Ken who is doing the Mods for me:yo:

Hey Tinfoil, I want to get the tone mod in my 6000 Pro SL. I have been in touch with MRand and he is ready to send me a kit, but mentioned that my unit must be "made after 1993 year." IS there a way to determine the manufactured date? There are several numbers on the lid to the battery compartment, and I suspect one is a date code.

I am still waiting for the "new" meter movement from White's. But the tone mod just sounds great!
Thanks,
Dave

The year the next 3 numbers are the day it was made in that year. Mine reads 5070. So it was made in 2005 the 70th day of the year. Not sure call Whites and they will tell you. My V3 says 9237. 2009 237th day of the year. Hope I am right on this. MXT is 2007 so 2002 7th day of the year. CRS don't you know now. :D: :D: HH Jerry aka Tinfoil

Big WOOT! Mine qualifies!! It is 8149, 149th day of 1998!

Now to talk Mama into spending $100.00 for the kit!

Thanks, Jerry!
Dave aka HotRox

Unless I have CRS too?

Hey I understand about the CRS. I just turned 68 and have become very involved with it! Getting old SUX!
