Good Day With the DFX...

Howdy--

I usually run my V3i but I take my DFX out every so often. The DFX, in my opinion, is a great detector. I always find something good with it and come home with a smile. My last hunt was no different.

Although the coin finds were few, I did dig a 1959-D silver Roosevelt and a few wheat cents. I also dug some scrap copper and brass which I recycle. I'm holding it now until the metal prices go up.

My friend Kenneth and I decided to hunt a vacant lot next to a hotel in the old part of town. We had hunted it last year and found a few mercs and wheat cents so we knew that it had potential. When we arrived at the site we sat on the tailgate and surveyed the lot to determine the best areas to detect because of over growth. While sitting on the tailgate, I spotted the $1 bill caught in the weeds. Off to a good start! Near the end of our hunt, working along a fence, I spotted the $20 bill. It was another good day hunting with my trusty old DFX! Best of luck and...
