Good day in t2ville

Had a banner day today, hit an old homesite and came away with a little bit of everything. Copper, Silver and Gold. Big penny no date couple of indians, two gold plated rings and a 1916 walking half. Brother found a silver three cent piece, little bugars they are. Faster than a speeding bullet those t2's.....hh

Nice finds bleeohio. Love those walking liberty halves. I'm looking forward to some old home sites. A friend owns property where an old logging town was located and he is in the process of clear cutting. When the lumber played out everybody just up and left. The buildings are gone but he has a platt map, so we should find some interesting items. May even try digging some out houses. Will post anything when found.

Great finds Bleeohio! Any more information you wish to share, like settings and conditions you were hunting in will be welcome. It is always great to find old silver!!! :clapping:

Dick, good luck in the homesites. Sounds like you have some great information from which to hunt. We all look forward to hearing about your finds and seeing any pictures you choose to share.

I won't be seeing that detector back anytime soon? ;)

The first pair of phones i actually have to turn the volume down a little. Real crisp, especially on the high tones. Thanks for the recommendation..

Old homesteads are my fav. spots to hunt. I do envy your beach hunting though, never know what can wash up on the sand. Hows the handle holding up? Mine as solid as a rock yet. good luck

Handle is holding up very nicely. I think I'll wait until it gets too hot to detect. When I get it fixed I'll retape it when I get it back, so it won't brake again.
