Good Day at the Beach

I'm new to Water/Beach detecting.I have hunted the land for about a year with my DFX and have done well.Lots of colonial stuff.
I wanted to see how the "Surf Gods" as you say, would treat me.I purchased an Excalibur and finally headed to the beach to give it a try.It was really windy...Gusts to 40mph. I didnt go in the water above my knees because the rip was really bad.
I found 3 silver rings, an 18K gold ring, medic alert bracelet, clad coins and an old toy car.
Surf Gods Smiled Upon Me!
Thanks for looking!

Well I guess you're pretty happy with your Excal, being you found 4 rings on your first outing with it. That's excellent, congrats!
I had a similar experience when I got my Sovereign Elite 2 summers ago. The Minelabs are tough to beat at the beach, that's for sure.

Winds from the North seemed to rip the sand from the beach in certain areas.
