Went out with two friends today and we all hit silver. Here are my finds along with 18 wheat cents. The other two found a total of 3 silver dimes 2 more Buffalo nickels one war nickel one Washington 1950 quarter and around 30 some wheat cents.

Very cool finds! I can't believe the condition of the buffalos. Must be the soil? When I dig them here they are corroded and brown.

Mine also. A little SOS pad work and fine steel wool fixes that. They look like rust discs when we find them but boy they clean up nice

Next one I find I'll make a YouTube video showing the process

great finds, super hunt! I have been cleaning all my old nickels with sos pads for a couple yrs or more, they always turn out great
