IT has been great for the last 4 years swing with the MXT but I am moving on to the Fisher F-75..

I Just hope the F-75 is as good as they say it is... HH...

I am very close to making the F-75 my main relic hunting machine after several years of productive hunting with the MXT. More flexibility and less weight. The only advantage the MXT has is the availability of larger coils. If the F-75 gets a 14" coil available, the MXT is toast. I like hunting in the all metal mode primarily, but in heavy trash I use DE mode, with a 4 disc. and two tones. I've tried the other modes in my test garden and can't see moch difference between the other modes on a dime buried at ten inches. I live in Missouri, so "your milage may vary". You will love it. It's deep.

keep on diggin',

I know I use mine all day long and it never bothers me one tiny bit.
There's allot to love about the F75, battery life, depth, separation quality ... well you get the picture and I know you and your Dad did your homework and made a good choice

Enjoy and keep us posted on your finds ratio.

Mike

Do a manual ground balance then go to STAT MODE and crank the sensitivity-you will be amazed at the depth.:detecting:
