I was down loading some mazgines yesterday and I saw in Minelabs magzine the Explore was list as Not in the productive state at this time. Does mean GO BYE TO THE EXPLORE.

Yes Bob this was the last year for the Explorer and the Sov. But they will still do repairs for some time to come. Also most of the assessories for the ET will also work on the Exporer..... like coils, inline PP and battery

Dew thank you for the infro. I used to own a e-tack a few years ago. It was a great machine. its a shame they are not water proof. trying to catch up on what I miss.
