After reading some posts that ski resorts are decent places to check out, I got permission to try my luck at a local small ski area that just closed up for the season. As soon as I fired up my MXT I was getting solid signals until I decided to call it a day. My take for 4 hours of swinging and digging was 12 quarters, 13 dimes, 2 nickels, 42 pennies, 1 gold-plated leaf-shaped pendant, 1 sterling silver earring, and a nice 14kt white gold men's wedding band. The earring ID'd at 0 - foil, and the ring registered at 12-14. This was all in just one small area. All the coins were clad or copper from 1971 on, but a decent afternnon in the fresh air and sunshine. I have to get back and see what else is hiding up there
