Good 15 Minute Hunt

I finally got my lunch break today just as the sun was going down. I knew I didn't have much time but figured that I could get a few minutes of detecting in around the benches where the folks take breaks at the local paintball field. In the first few minutes, I had one good strong return. I dug up a plug and almost immediately found a shiny clad dime hiding in it. Ten minutes later, I got another good hit and dug up another plug. It was starting to get dark now and after some looking, found a badly tarnished clad quarter. After finally finding the quarter, it was too late to continue. I figure 35 cents from a 15 minute hunt is nothing to complain about.

That works out to be $1.40 per hour, way below the minimum wage. I'm going to have to report you to the US Department of Labor.

Find a nice well used local park and dig everytime it makes a sound. Learn what its telling you when it sounds off. You will see that $1.40 will rapidly grow into a handful of coins per hour with lots of other treasures!

Good luck & Happy Hunting
