Hello to all E-trac users,
Just wanted to introduce myself here because I just bought a "Well trained dog" his name is E-trac :super:. Got him from Mike Post, his own personal huntin dog:thumbup:. Well as you see in my Signature I have the V and although it is a Great Machine I wanted to step it up a bit with a new primary one. So by Saturday I will have all the pieces listed except the 6" coil that is on backorder. I have experience on the EXII although I was never very good on it. From everything I have read it looks as if the E-Trac is easier to learn how to get the deeper stuff. Coins will be my main goal, old coins that have that silvery shine to them:bouncy:. I see you guys and gals post some amazing finds and I just "Wish" with envy. Any way wish me a long and happy relationship with my new hunting dog:thumbup::thumbup:!!!

PS: I will have questions coming in soon:)

Thanks,

Jeff

Good, Welcome Home

Welcome from Houtzdale.pa. Good uck with your new dog.

Glad to see you here Jeff! Consistency in signal is #1...probably is with most detectors, but works great with the E-Trac. Looking forward to your finds.

Thanks to all for the welcome and kinds words, I should have the new Pro coil for it today so this evening I will be swinging at my home from the late 1800's and I can't wait for that!

I just got my Etrac about a month ago. So far the finds have been 1918-S, 1920, 1945-D, MERC's and oh, yeah....an 1890 Seated Liberty Dime in XL shape! Most rang in the 12-45, and 20-45 areas.

Thought I'd gotten a barber until I got home an washed it off, then did the happy dance:jump:
