Gone huntings combined mode

Was out with my buddy who purchased a new 3030 and he said he had a combined mode that I found out was Evans, from gone hunting. After some research I found out this is available only if you buy a 3030 from Barts big boy hobby's or you buy it from Evan directly. Anybody know anything about it.

Yeah, it's not rocket science. It's what most of us preach as settings; mostly open screen / combined audio / FE-Coin.

Evan used to have the specific settings available on his website, but had to make it private because other dealers were using it as a "bonus" to their customers.

steve,
Along with what Jason stated, I want to encourage you to do your own testing of various settings in your coin garden.

Regardless of the brand/model of detector, what works brilliantly for me might be the worst settings in the world for someone else...depending on the ground conditions.

And, as I'm sure you've seen suggested here many times, get Andy's book...especially if you want to see and test other peoples patterns/programs.

HH,
mike

really the ctx is made to run an open screen if you can stand it use it, adding disc isn't going to find you more coins etc from my experience but hey been wrong before probably wrong about this too

Thanks for the input. I just got Andy's book and reading it now. My buddy acted like he had some silver bullet or something. I have the open pattern, but I agree I need to find my own zen with where I hunt.

I run mine wide open as well, as I feel there is much more information available to make a better choice to dig or not. Andy Sabisch's CTX3030 handbook is a wealth of information! Read and re-read each chapter, and don't skip any chapters because you think you know what the "controls" do (page 20-50).
