Goldquest advice

Hello, can anyone out there tell me how the Goldquest Aquasearch measures up on dry land opposed to sand? Any advice is appreciated.

It depends on what the "land" is. Straight PI's are not often used for inland searching for two reasons - 1)Proliferation of iron trash. 2)Iron mineralisation of soil. In clean non-mineralised or weakly mineralised areas, they can, and have been, used successfully.

Are you planning on using the Aquasearch as both a water and land hunter?

Eric.

Hey Eric, how are you and thank you for your reply. I spoke to Mr. Bill last week, what a great guy, and he explained to me the difference between detectors and their uses. To answer your question, I guess I am looking for a dependable detector that I can use in both salt water and on dry land. I live in Northern California and will be using the detector mainly on the beaches. I have a few detectors in mind but am still leaning towards the Aquasearch as the detector for me. So, God willing, I hope be contacting Mr. Bill very soon for a purchase. P.S. I changed my user name. Thanks again and God Bless, applehead/morningstar.
