Goldmaster 3 ~ hard to get.

Have you noticed that Goldmaster 3s don't seem to come up for sale that often, is it because owners hang on to them ?

Where are all those GM 3s ?
What are they worth ?

Bobby.

Seems like the GM3 is a popular machine and when someone gets one they don't turn it loose.
I have a GMT and would not give it up for anything but if I was to look for another gold machine it would be a GM3.
But I do have to say with the right settings my MXT is very very good for gold too.

Hello Azdigger,
Yep they are sure hard to find, I suppose people only sell them to good homes these days . :cheekkiss:

Will your MXT punch deeper on gold then your GMT ?

Have Fun
Bobby.

The 2 machines are pretty close in depth depending on settings.
I run my MXT a 1+ on the gain and hyper Sat max with threshold at bare min...just can hear it....sings out over gold and meteorites.
For the GMT I run the gain at preset, Sat at 9 1/2 and same threshold but I also manual ground balance both machines and on the GMT I kick in the audio boost.
Works for me

Thanks Azdigger,

Manual ground balancing seems to give the edge I agree.
Must be a hard choice of what machine to use nugget hunting.

Regards Bobby.

Most of the time I use the GMT and my wife uses the MXT, I use the MXT when coin and relic hunting , she has a ace 250 that she likes for coins....esy turn on and go for her..........
