goldmaster 2 with nuggett shooter 6inch coil

Neilo

New member
I have an old VSat model Goldmaster 2 I am thinking about fitting a nuggett shooter double D 6x4inch coil. Can this model handle this coil okay or will it be too noisy. Has anyone used one in this configeration. Or is this coil only suitable for the later GMT. Where I will be using it most of the gold is very small below .1 of a gram, but the ground is claylike and can be noisy in places.
Another question is the original 10inch eliptical coil fitted to the old Goldmaster 2 a double D or mono it is called a Longscan.
Thanks seeya Neilo

Hi Neilo,
I can only tell you about the original coil, the
10in longscan, its not a DD.
This is a great unit but you must drop the sensitifity on most ground, other wise your going to get signals on every sweep.

Whites sell a DD thats suitable for the G.M.11 , try an email, good luck !
Let me know if you do ok ?

Bobby.

Any Goldmaster coil will work, but the DD is a little quieter in minerealised soils (sp?) It's a personal thing!
