Golden

What coil do you usually use on the Golden when hunting in those areas? I will agree maybe not quite as deep as some, but certainly holds its own in its adaptability to the surroundings. I've been running mine with the seven inch coil quite a bit.

I use a 7 inch Shadow X2 coil on the Golden. It's the only coil I currently have for it, but that's all I need as I have deeper covered by other detectors and trash hunting covered by the GMT 1650:)

Congrats on the nice pendant! It sounds like you have the Golden dialed in to me. Good hunting, Beale.

i just got me a golden umax & im finding it has very good depth if you listen to what its saying
loving my golden :detecting:

Hey guys! thanks for the posts. Is it true that the Golden has the tone ID in all metal mode? How do you deal w/gold rings and have you found some lately? Finally, is the depth comparable for the Silver umax-if so, that's good enough for me:)
