Golden Umax....

Can anyone give me their opinions of the Golden Umax? I am considering this as my next detector and would love to hear about the pros and cons. Thanks.

The little Golden is a sweet detector. If you like tone id, you'll like the Golden-u. If you have never used tone id before, it will take a short time to learn how to handle all that audio, but once you get used to it, you'll never want to go back to a single tone again.

I really like using it with a widescan coil in heavy trash. and I mean heavy trash. It just really excels in that type of hunting. You can really tune it into what you want to hear.

Ok..something negative....ummm.....hmmmm....ok, preset ground balance. What else....

Best positive...its really works great in steel bottle cap infested areas.

Tones Rule :)
