GOLDEN UMAX SETTINGS

Would someone who knowes this old machine please give some settings for working in wet sand, all I am getting is a howling sound but no coins, thanks oneill

I have a Golden U max, but I have never used it in wet salty sand...this particular detector is not built for detecting in wet salty sand..I have used mine in dry sand, and it went ok, but depth was not as good as I've got with VLF machines I can ground balance. I dont think that Tesoro recommend that the Golden be used in wet sand. You could try reducing your sensitivity (if you haven't already tried that). HH
