golden umax finds more gold :detecting:

took the golden umax out today & found this 10 k ring down a measured 7 inches
the signal was very marginal almost dident dig it but it caught my attention as it had a low high signal very slight almost not there
sometimes you gotta go for those iffy signals
loving my tesoros
& the golden is golden

Great going! The Tesoro Golden uMax is the best kept secret around when it comes to finding GOLD rings. To top it all off it's a great detector for coin shooting. It's super light and it's plenty deep.

I'm really enjoying my Tesoro Golden uMax.

I've not tried the Clean Sweep yet. I want to swing one to see if I can swing it all day long before I part with my money.

I have had elbow problems, but it seems to be getting better the more I swing.

Maybe I'm just getting those muscles conditioned to swing a detector.

the new clean sweeps are 5 ounces lighter than the old 1s
1.3 oz vs 1.8 os big difference
feels like the stock coil
really covers ground
if you get 1 mount it backwards it balances great
the clean sweep is a real coin & jewelry magnet
the only thing is it hits hard on all coins & jewelry
but quarters come in with a light signal finds lots of them but the signal is kinda week
just so you know
i love my clean sweep i have the heavy 1 & its my main coil 95% of the time

5 ounces at the end of a long rod is a whole lot after swinging it for while.

The newer 9 x 8 coils are lighter as well.
