golden umax eldorado.umax

I just bought my second eldorado.
the first one was not the deepest but for the price is quits a machine,'
very light and quick and I like the idea of digging just 5 or six inches to find my target.
I have had a lot of machines and some could really go deep but digging deep holes all the time gets tiresome plus you move a lot of dirt buy the end of the year.
I also was thinking of a golden umax and was wondering if someone used both and could tell me if the golden is much better?
thanks

I never used an Eldorado but I like my Golden. Found so many Coins today I got tired of digging them.

In THEORY the Eldorado should be the deeper machine due to the manual ground balance. In soil friendly to the preset machines (Golden umax) the Golden seems to work well as it has a pretty loyal following. If you like or prefer tone discrimination, the Golden wins on that feature. I've hunted with a variety of Tesoros, both preset and manual ground balance, and have to say that I've done pretty well with all of them and they've all been fun to use.
