WHAT OTHER COILS CAN I USE ON THE GOLEN UMAX.

On the Tesoro Electronics website, click on 'Search Coils" and any of the 'Epsilon' DD or Concenric coils will work. These have the 5 pin connectors.

The 8" Brown donut is best all around coil. You will get at least a inch more depth over the stock coil that comes on the Golden uMax.
 
Hi again,
I just got the Umax back from tesoro and they put a new coil on it and tuned it.
To me it seams a lot deeper so I am going to Home Depot and get a yardstick and do one of those tests on it.

Went to Home Depot and bought a wood yardstick.
I tried it indoors and the results were not that good-everything was 8" strong but not much more.
This is without headphones and in discriminate mode.
Tomorrow I will try it in all metal mode and then with earphone.

Tesoro gave me a new one and tuned it but I just let it go to another member
