Golden UMax Big Target Signal

New member
Has anyone heard if the big target signal (overload), can be disconnected and only have the 4 tones. Any times a metal object is within two inches of the coil, it gives off a overload signal and I raise the coil about 4 inches and then the proper tones is giving on the target. If I am going to keep the coil 4 inches above the ground my lack of depth will be only 4 inches on a quarter.

The 4 inch coil is really small and thats why the overload. The stock coil is not as bad.
