Golden start to 2012

Ed (Upstate NY)

Met up with Park Pirate this morning for our first hunt of the 2012 season. Rather uneventful except for the nice 1963 10K class ring I dug. Was hoping for a couple old coins but I can't be disappointed with finding gold. Ring is from a local high school that merged with another Catholic High School back in the 1970's so hopefully I can track down the owner since the ring does have initials engraved.

When ED walked up to me he said looks like it going to be a good start to the new year, with his hand held out he said its not a coin but something good, he droped this ring in my hand i was shocked to see a class ring after we hit this area hard over the years. just go's to show whats still here....Thats good hunting ED as always....:twodetecting:

Ah, sweet find; I hope you are able to connect with the owner - I am sure he/she will be delighted to get it back.

Nice Find

I found this 1933 14K High School Ring from Parker H.S. in Clarence NY

The H.S. was demolished in 1980 and the student would be in his 90's if alive and if I could identify him

Good Luck and your efforts are commendable and appreciated
