Golden Morning

Hi All,
I went for a post July 4th hunt at the beach this morning. There was a -1.2 tide so I put the 15” coil on my NOX and focused on the wet sand. Also I wanted to find some fresh ground (there was about a dozen other hunters). I was finding coins out there and the sand felt pretty firm. I was hunting i. beach 1 when I got a signal that was nice and clear. It rang up 7. It’s stamped 14k and once agin fits my wife perfectly.

HH

Nice so do all the rings I find they fit my wife except my last two last month both men’s 14k one fit me a knights of Columbus other was hit hard by a lawnmower Stone was gone sold that one for $230.00 not bad

My theory is the more rings I give to my wife the more she’ll let me hunt. It’s a vicious cycle.

. That’s right...win - win situation.... I found a small gold ring years ago at the beach that just happened to be her size and had her birth stone mounted on it.. that little beauty bought me a few more resentment- free trips back to the sand lol... congrats...

Haven’t tested it yet. I bought one of those $12 testers a little while back but it broke. I got my money back but haven’t got around to ordering a new one.

Nice find. I suspect that the stone is real. Now I don't know what to say about a ring fitting the wife. My wife tells folks that she treasures the rings that I buy for her but the ones I find have no meaning to her She will from time to time extract one of my finds and wear it for a day or two and then put it back.

She has known me long enough to recognize when I am getting cabin fever. She will look at me and say you need to go detecting. Of course she will go to the quilt shop while I am gone. LOL. I detect a couple times a week and she does her thing with cutting up good fabric into small pieces and then sewing them back together.

I cant complain too much as she has a bunch of blue ribbons that her quilts have won.

Could be a White sapphire my pastor found a beautiful 14k old ring with a white stone we thought diamond because of how old the ring was turned out to be a sapphire

George, that’s funny about your wife’s quilting obsession. My wife’s obsessed with succulent’s, rabbits, and doves. I let her do her thing when ever she wants. She never tells me to go detecting but I do end up going 3-4x a week.

As far as the stone being real, from what I’ve read all the testers I can afford won’t tell the difference between moissanite and diamond.
