MDing aside. My daughters (special needs population) fishing competition first.

She was really concentrating on her line. You can't keep an autistic kid still. She kept tapping the line.

A bait and tackle and a barbecue sponsored it. The men gave the kids a free Okuma 40 steeler reel and a steeler 664 rod. Also t-shirts and lunch.

The judges kept an eye on everything.

As you can see, we all were dressed for the weather here. They said cold Canadian was trying to push its way into Fl. Why is it always cold Canadian air? Why not warm Canadian air. It didn't make it. Tomorrow is in the 80's.

Afterwards we went to the beach. I got there late, wrong tide and the MDer's were leaving. My daughter loves setting on the beach. I had a nice walk and a few clad. It was a golden day.

Did she catch any? She seems very intent on doing so. You'll always have a fishing partner. Nice photos also. Hope she had fun. Happy dirt or water fishing.

That is a golden moment John. Times like those are meant to be cherished. Looks like a lot of people fishing in that one pic. I just hpoe that they were biting. And if I send you some of our present canadian air in Edmonton....it WILL be cold

Thanks for some great photos about a great event

.............fishing is better than a good day of working. PS, you can substitute MDing for fishing.
