Golden hunt opportunity today!

Heading out this morning to an old 1780's B&B that I resecured permission for after a ten year hiatus. That was the last time I was there with an Explorer XS and a Sovereign previously. My hunting buddy (and former boss) originally got us permission but he has long since moved on and I stayed in touch with the owners. I locked in my "anytime you want" hunting status when I found the owner's wedding ring that he lost while mowing the grounds on a riding mower. His wife e-mailed me that they had BOTH lost rings out there since and maybe I could find them? Of course I said "absolutely I would be happy to". So I have a dual purpose hunt today and tomorrow. Rings and hopefully late 18th century artifacts! This is the place I found my best large cent find ever (1814). It came out of the dense clay ground like the day it was minted!. Awesome easy digging here but the "hot spot" where all the buttons, buckles and large cents were found are co-mingled with some BIG iron so I'm looking forward to seeing what the E-Trac can unmask there. Wish me luck, I hope to have some finds to post later! HH George
