Golden Gate Bridge

The Golden Gate Bridge isn't always in bright sunlight. On this day the clouds were streaming by the bridge. Some of the clouds were comming up and over the hill that we were standing on. Very cold.

I sharpened it up a bit in Photoshop. I hope you don't mind. I really like that shot! I'd love to have a large version of that for a wall mount. Great pic!

I think that shooting into the sun made the photo a bit hazier than it could have been if shot from the other side. But it is still a very nice photo, I like it.

Thanks for your comments. Some comments of my own. I would have liked to have shot from the other side but 1. There is no other side with this vantage point. 2. There is a way to get under the bridge on the Marin side but when I and my daughter tried to go there we were stopped by the National Guard. They were plesant but firm and would not let us close to the bridge.
Thanks for sharpening up the picture. I forgot to put some sharpening on it. I will keep that in mind for the rest of my pictures.
