well the golden has done it again its a small 10 k gold ring with a cz
found in a spot we thought we had worked throughly

i set my golden just a hair above iron discrimination
full sensitivity
im running a 11 inch concentric coil *very rare*
the last 3 rings were 4 to 6 inches down with a low to mid tone
i dont worry to much about the tones being to close together
as you allreddy know the golden has a language all its own
when i hear a signal i stop for a min & analyze the signal
its ether a i want it signal or a i dont want it signal
i do dig a good bit of trash tin foil / pulltabs / ect
but thats how 1 gets the gold rings
the golden will find the smaller gold rings in notch & i do run it in notch from time to time depending on my trash tolerance that day lol

found 73 assorted rings last year with the golden & csc
