stopped at a store this morning on the way to go detecting looked a couple of spots over and found what i thought was a silver chain turned out the chain is marked 14k and the pendants are marked 925 and the eagle says sterling great start for the day,, met up with a friend to try a new area got a junker a tungsten and i believe is an aluminum spoon test with 14k acid turned it green but was looking for the milky white color it turns silver but didnt get it all and all a good day thanks for looking

That spoon looks really old? I remember reading something a long time ago, aluminum was a rare metal and highly prized.

The spoon has markings of a lqte 19th century American silver maker but I wasn't able to find the exact mark in my reference. But it is definitley around 100 years old.
