Gold Wedding ring

Yesterday the wife & I were metal detecting at Newport Beach California. I had a Life gaurd come running up to me. I was somewhat startled, thinking I was going to be asked to leave. He said there was an old man (pointing @ 200 yards away) lost his wedding ring, can you help him find it? I eagerly went over to the old man that was there with his wife and grand daughters and introduced myself. He told me the general area where he lost it. I turned on my detector and started looking. I found it within 30 seconds, already 6" deep in the sand. He was so grateful and his wife cried thanking me! They have been married for 40 years, retired Air Force vet. We almost didn't go to the beach as we were thinking of going to a different area. Karma! I was meant to be there for that man and his family yesterday. That was a blessing for me to be there for them.

Great recovery, and not a better feeling in the world than to help your fellow man/woman...

HH,

Good for you! Lucky you were there, for certain.

Chris

I'd gladly take that as my first gold finding experience. Nice job and may karma remember it in your future hunts!

That is great to help them out and the ability to find it says a lot! Thumbs up!
