amazing craftsmanship. Finds of a lifetime for sure. Close to the surface is puzzling a bit though, freshly plowed?John
 
Certainly a stunning find,does make you wondering if more could be near by,but saying that they probably have all ready done a thorough search of the area,i am pretty certain that we have only just scratched the surface on what is still in the ground here in the UK,but they are deeper than most standard detectors can reach,but more powerful tractors and deeper ploughing has produced more scattered pot hoards in recent years.
