hi all i would like to know if anyone can recommend a good gold tester i know there are a few out there all saying theirs is best i think i would prefer an electronic one thanks & a very merry xmas & prosperous new year. eloros

i know some of the forum sponsor's do sell different ones,as my self am interested in same,i just sent off for the liquid ones

I have a Mizer M24 electronic gold tester. I have also used and have the acid test kits and have tried the other electronic testers. IMHO the Mizar M24 is the best and most accurate one that I have used

n/t

I have the Mizer too, both the 18 and 24, great

:unsure:Being the " OLD FART " !!!! my girls never know what to buy me for Xams prezzysssssss :wiggle: ??? I do prefere gifts that I will actually use and not socks and aftershaves that will sit in the bathroom cabinet with all the rest !!!!!! ( I think ) father xmas is bringing me an acid based testing unit , that independantly tests for 9k.14k.18k.22k plat and silver  , and a water proof digital camera to record my finds LIVE in the scoop :cam:. I think the gold testing kit will be very useful as a lot of the gold that I have found has unusual or no hallmarkings on them and the camera will catch the moment forever ??
merry xmas hunters regards from Tony in U.K :ukflag:

Acid test kit
Thanks erikk,
OK, now I understand, I though there might be something out there as easy and simple like the Mizer M24 electronic gold tester and non-destructive. I've played with acid and did not like the results.:nono:
