I have been out of commission for sometime now since my back fusion and it looks I'm going to take an early retirement from the government. I thought I would try an hour or 2 on the beach and I'm glade I did. About 8 feet up from the dead low tide line and about 8 to 9 inches down, I hit this 3 diamond 14 kart engagement ring, I had tried to go out before this but the back would not allow that and today I could only stay an hour before I HAD TO call it quits but its nice to know I still can find the gold.
The other gold band was one I found last year and it looked like a recent drop at the time as it looked like silver and I thought it said 950 inside but it turned out it was 750, well its 18 karat and my wife owns it as well. Moral of the story? Check your old finds you will be surprised what you thought was junk or silver ends up to be gold.
PS The earing to the left of the hoop is 14 K as well
