The gentle world of metal detecting has been rocked by a ferocious battle in a field

That will keep relations sweet with the Landowners / Farmers.

Glad I'm a Loner with many acres of land to detect on

Never been to a Rally and no intention of attending one

Not a member of any club, not my scene, I'm sure this story

Any thing that is printed in a British tabloid I take with a grain of salt:ranting:. They love to sensationalize every bit of news. I read further down that only a few coins were found:yikes: and the rumors went out of control !

guys on the UK forums confirm that something big did take place ,the farmer used a digger to find another 137 coins ,later on .
a pal of mine found a good number ............
