Gold rings

Got a question: Have you ever tried to sell your
gold finds (rings and crosses) on Ebay? I was just looking at the Ebay
site and it doesn't look like anyone is buying. It
seems like it would be better to sell to a Gold
refinery and get a better deal. Am I wrong?

Never tried Ebay...the wife sells my gold and silver rings at her yearly garage sale for over melt...thing is, I never see a nickel of that money.

Pretty rings in excellent shape can sell for more than melt. I let my wife decide if they are pretty enough to try to sell and I let her sell them. If she doesn't think they make the grade, I send them off to the refinery. Right now I'm saving stuff for the refiner until the gold market goes up some.
