Gold Ring!

Unbelievable! I just pulled my third gold ring since last Saturday (and third overall)!

This one rang in as a VDI 16. I dug it in the same park that I pulled another ring from last week! It's 10k gold with a sapphire center stone and a ruby and emerald accent (I think, but I'm no gemologist).
 
Funny thing is, it's my "home park" -- the one I hit whenever I have an hour or so to kill. It hadn't produced anything but clad before last week and I thought it was just about done for. Maybe I just cleared all the clad out of the way!

Definitely, mudpuppy! I'm now more enthusiastic whenever I get that 13-16 VDI reading. I used to have to talk myself into digging them, but now my Lesche is in the turf about a second after I pinpoint the target! Funny what gold can do to you!
