Got out yesterday and today for a total of about 7 hrs, hit a park up the road in the next town for $1.90 started out using the Omega but there was so much trash that I swapped to the Cibola and 5.75 coil ended up with most of my finds using it around the basketball court and finding 2 quarters beneath the bench that was beside the court, did a quick 30 min hunt around the swings in the towns rec center and didn't find a thing, have a feeling that both of those places have been hunted already. Todays hunt was at 2 different schools in a different town, spent about an 1 1/2 hrs at the first school cherry picking for clad to see if it was worth spending more time there. Again I started with the Omega and ended up switching to the Cibola around the swings, most finds were with the Cibola but probably found less than a $1 there, headed over to a different elem school that I've already hunted once with the DeLeon. Using the Cibola I found close to a dollar just around the legs of the swing sets (there were 3 in a row) mostly quarters with a couple of dimes, I was really surprised that I could get right next to the legs even with the sens over in the orange, no way I could have found those coins with either of my other stock coils. Used the Omega out in the open ground in front and back of the swings started with a gb of 61-64, sens set at 75-80, disc at 40 to knock out the iron and 4 tones. However there were so many pull tabs that I ended up setting the disc at zinc, so I could dig as many "good targets" as possible in the short time I had left to hunt. Found the rest of my coins there approx $4.69, along with a $1.00 token for the river boat casino in Lake Charles, the yellow ladybug (wife says it was the head of a stick pin) and the gold ring, at least I think its gold says 10k on the inside of the band but there sure is a lot of the yellow worn off and don't know if the diamonds are real or not but either way its a ring and if real my first gold! The deepest coin of the day was a dime around 5-6" found with the Omega.
