Picked up a 10k gold class ring 10 grams 1955 no school or stone , also found 14k dia earing and two merks , one of the merks was in the scoop with ring Don Tyler

Nice find Don , What Detector do you use??? Mickfin

In the water my favorite detector is the excal 1000 came with blue headphones ,but now have Mr goldmaster headphones , plus the coil is from a excal 11. I take my time in lakes and ponds and crank up the sensitivity, then listen inbetween the falsing and good signals , gets me the depth I like Don Tyler

Don i have a Tesoro Sand shark PI, Wen i turn up the Puls Width i hear the Black sand deposits is that what you mean wen you say falsing???
I Hunt in fresh water also, I Like the depth of the PI i dig it all in swim holes, Thanks Don , Mickfin

Lotta deep Old Rings up your way...........Nice Heavy One, Very nice.................joe

No you can adjust the strength of your sensitivity on a excal detector, pulse machine is a diff machine, you cannot discriminate with a sand shark , but a good machine to use , it just picks up all kinds of metal Don Tyler

I 4R-got to say WTG on your Ring Don!!!!!! Mickfin
