Gold ring with 32 diamonds......................:)

What a shocker I found today!! I went out this morning for about five hours and hit some school play grounds and I'm sure glad I did. Got a nickle signal and what a nickle it was!! Gold ring with 32 small diamonds in it. Not my best gold and diamond ring that I have found, but it sure paid for the gas.............:) Don't have to tell you that my wife has claims on it.........:) I can't make out the kt weight so I am taking it to a jeweler and see if they can make it out. God I love this hobby............:) HH.

Eddie

Thanks!!! It was actually a little below the nickle range with the top two squares showing at the bottom of the screen. I switched over to digital and it was bouncing between 1 and 2. I do have a habit of digging just about all signals at play grounds because you just never know what you might miss.........:) HH.

That's a real beaut and I'm sure your wife agrees. Just finished unpacking the MH and the camera is still packed and not hooked up so will try and post tomorrow. Did good East of the Mts. Oldest coin is 1872 and several nice Indians, Barbers, Trades, Foreigns and V's plus wheat's. Couldn't beat your ring if I went to Mr. Chile's store.
Congratulations on your find and see you at the next meeting.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations Eddie!!! Now that is a NICE RING! Who needs a Seated when you dig up something like that. And I bet the Wife said the same thing as you just stated, "God I Love This Hobby!". You have a first place find there and if you don't win it then they don't know what a Fantastic Find is. Congrats once again and Good Luck and HH.

Thanks jb. Sounds like you did pretty good east of the mountains. Can't wait to see your finds...............:) I'm sure Mr. Chile has a ring or two that will beat mine. See you at the next meeting. HH.

Eddie

Thanks James. She is a looker for sure and if I keep finding rings like that them maybe my wife will let me keep on detecting.......:) I don't think I would trade it for a seated coin though. It will come one of these days I hope. We have three categories for find of the month. Best coin, best jewelery and miscellaneous. I was going to enter that gold ting with the ruby, but I think I better enter the diamond ring huh?...............:) HH.

Eddie

Now all you have to do is go out and find something old for a coin and try and find an old bottle dump since this is what usually wins in my club. Good Luck and HH.

Beautiful ring Eddie! Should be a winner at the next meeting. The tides have been super low. You should hit some of the beaches. With the woods overgrown right now ghost town hunting is out so I've been hitting the beach and have pulled some rings but nothing as good as yours.

The most small diamonds I"ve found in one ring was 26, so you got me beat there!! WTG Once again!!!!

Thanks crazyman. I'm sure there are lot's more rings out there to be found. You just have to be in the right spot at the right time. I haven't done any beach hunting, but the wife and I are going down to Seaside on the 6th of July, so I might give the beaches a try. HH.

I was just pulling your leg James on which ring to enter.......:)I have no good coins to enter at our next meeting, but my ring should win best jewelery. I have never hunted for bottles, but I did find out where this old garbage dump use to be at this old town not too far from my place. I might have to check it out sometime. HH.
