GOLD RING TODAY

Hi Folks,
I have been a Garrett & Fisher guy all of my detecting life of 14 years on and off. Went to a place with some huge old trees looking for some spill, got a little, all clad and new. Decided to go to a soccer field to not get skunked and dug a good solid "QUARTER" on my GTI 1500. among the plug was what I thought was a chewed up can since it is grass turf, but voila! Nice men's size HS ring at 14K. Nice pale blue stone (Garnet?). Anyway...you never know!!!
Good luck!
Ray

I don't know why gold would ring up so high on the scale. Pale blue stone is probably an aquamarine. Most HS rings use synthetic stones. How much does it weigh?

Exceptional find. Still waiting for my first mens HS or college ring here.

Congrats on finding some gold. That is good looking ring. I hope you can find the owner if you decide to track him down.

Great find.
