I will post pictures of my first finds with the CTX as soon as my dear hubby shows me how to do it. I went out Saturday at 8:00AM with 2 buddies (guys) and one petered out within a couple of hours and the other after lunch but I was fired up!!!!! We were in the "Old Escondido" district (San DIego County) working the sidewalks but I found what I thought was a gold newer ring. I took it in to my coin shop today as it wasn't stamped and indeed 14K and heavy! I found a silver trinket, several wheaties and somthing that appears to be part of an old lock. I was so jazzed I even had to call Bart! Nothing sweeter than GOLD! I detected until 4:00PM and although sore yesterday it is a good kinda sore. My MXT Pro is lighter than this machine but the CTX is SO well balanced that I felt like I was swingind a feather all day!
