New member
Hi to all
excuse my english

Near to Hermosillo, Sonora in a ghost town, i found a gold rind 4" deep, three minutes after and 3 meters from de ring a found a nice gold thimble 4" or 5 " deep.
I adquired at november or december my Explorer SE and i was finding good items, its an excelente detector

Both of these are great finds and that gold thimble is especially beautiful. Congratulations! Please keep us informed of your other finds. Happy Hunting.

[attachment 151523 waytogosignflashing.gif] That thimble is very cool. Never seen one like it.
Congrats on the ring too.

Really nice hector. And most unusual.

Do they have any markings on them to tell the gold purity? Was wondering if a pure gold thimble could hold up to being used without deforming.

n/t

There are no markings on them.

The site maybe from 1700's.

The pictures are so dark. Here is another one whit a little more light. it is pure gold

Thanks for your attention
