Gold ring for my anniversary

Active member
I went back to the swimming hole and found another GoPro, a 14k ear ring with tiny diamonds, and a 14k ring with some tiny diamonds too. It's a good thing I found something because it's my wedding anniversary today and I needed a gift. I also found a wheatie which makes me think there's some old treasure to be had.

If you are finding old coins, you need to hunt that place in all metal. You will get a lot of junk, but you will get them deeper coins and maybe more gold. Just work a small area at a time. Clean it out , than let us know how you did... KEN

Thanks for the tips. I have a CZ-20 which I use in All Metal in the wet sand at the beach, then I dial it to 0 to see if it's iron and not worth digging. All this stuff was found in a swimming area and I used my Vibratector 730. It's a PI machine that vibrates in your hand. I works great. I found the GoPro and the ear ring in ten foot deep water so I hold my breath, dive down, and scoop around till my air runs out. After I got tired I went to a spot where ladies sit on the rocks in the river. That's where I found the coins and the rest of ring. There was one wheatie in there so yeah, I'm excited about getting back with a screw driver to clean out the cracks between the rocks.
