Gold Results for My 2nd Year with the Excal

New member
2 years ago I bought an Excal for my 46th birthday as a present to myself and I've had no regrets with that decision. Birthdays are a time for assessment at least for this Pirate. So today I did a tally of my loot and it was pretty good for the time between my 46th and 47th birthdays. I took a pic of the gold part of my 2nd year loot but didn't bother with the silver because I don't keep very good track of those finds unless they are exceptional in some way. The pic below is what I have left in my loot bowl, 5 of last years gold rings went back to my safety deposit in Canada and 5 more were given away to friends or family, so I'm short ten gold from my total as shown in the pic.

Time to get crackin if I'm going to surpass last year's totals,

BDA
(the 3 rings in the front are platinum but the one on the right is from the year before, sorry):detecting:

Thats awesome! I hope my treasure pile will look like that at the end of my year! Awesome finds and awesome photo. Looks like money well spent and earned huh??
Great job, Now go double it.
Man 954, you're tough on a pirate. 39 gold and 2 platinum times 2 would be 78 gold and 4 platinum. I can't very well give up my day job even at the price of gold these days.:crylol:

Cheers,

BDA:cool:

You can always hope and dream, right? Awesome collection you've made for yourself. whats your total weight?...............even an estimate, for the lil dreamer in me

I haven't bothered getting a scale yet but the 22k knuckle buster on the far right has got to be close to an ounce by itself. I did beat last years gold total, just barely.(39 gold this year and 35 the year before that)

Have fun out there and get through the slow times, because you know what is coming and it's good! Klondike fer shur mate, I like it ALL!
...but you give me plenty to shoot for.

The Brownie is due in Wednesday and the Excal II is a-waitin'!

Go get that Plat, John! I can tell you're really stoked about the Brownie and I don't blame you. There's got to be tons of loot in those old swimming holes, just waiting for you to swim down and pirate it. Looking forward to seeing the loot, soon.

Cheers,

BDA:cool:

That's impressive!
I did about that well in 1998 and 1999. Never during the years after that though.
Of course, i've been out sick for the last 2 years.
