GOLD RACER

DEAR NOKTA & MAKRO :

I HAVE A IMPORTANT QUESTION ABOUT THE GOLD RACER MACHINE 56K >> WHY HAVE NO AFTERMARKET SEARCH COIL LIKE NEL COIL OR COILTEK OR CORS FOR GOLD

RACER BECAUSE I HAVE ONLY THE STOCK COIL FOR MY MACHINE .. DID YOU HAVE ANY IDEA ABOUT IT PLEASE I NEED MORE DEPTH AND GROUND RECOVER IM REALLY SO

SAD < I KNOW YOU HAVE RC40 BIG COIL BUT I WANT ALSO OTHER CHOISE NOT ONLY ME BUT ALL YOUR CUSTOMERS THEY ARE NEED THAT BEACUSE ITS TO MUCH

IMPORTANT >>>>> REGARDS

I have found the Nokta and Makro search coils to provide exceptional in-the-field performance.

I use the Nokta Relic, CoRe and Gold + as well as the Makro Racer 2 and Gold Racer. I do want to get the mid-size 4X7 for the Gold Racer, but until then the round 5½" DD and 5½X10 Concentric provide ample performance.

The Gold Racer is a model primarily designed as a Gold Nugget hunting detector, with the Low Frequency 56 kHz design that excels on lower-conductive targets. It is versatile in that it does have the two motion-based Discriminate modes, and I search with my Gold Racer successfully, but I never expect it to be a depth monster because, quite frankly, it shouldn't be at that operating frequency. My 14 kHz Racer 2, 15 kHz CoRe and 19 kHz Gold + and Relic will all provide me a little more detection depth on most targets because they are operating in the VLF range.

The Gold Racer is the absolute best in it's class of Low Frequency, Gold Nugget oriented detectors on the market today.

I have tried several of the after-market search coils from NEL and others, and done many side-by-side, in-the-field comparisons with an assortment of detector brands and models, and I have NOT found any of them to perform better than, and in many cases fall short on performance, compared with the Nokta and Makro search coils.

Makro won't have any after-market coils, so you ought to contact those manufacturers and ask them directly if they make, or better yet why they might not make, any after-market coils for a Nokta or Makro metal detector. I'll guarantee you that "all customers" do not feel a need for an after-market larger-size search coil for the excellent Gold Racer. This model is designed for smaller-size, lower-conductive targets and excels at what it does, especially with the primary-use search coils for it.

If you are trying to milk some sort of performance out of a 'specialty market' detector with an off-brand coil, I think you really need to consider selecting the best detector for that task instead.

Hello. This question should be directed to the manufacturers mentioned above as we do not know the answer as to why they do not have coils for the Gold Racer.

We offer GR13, GR26 GR26C (concentric) and GR40 coil options or the Gold Racer and we believe it meets the expectations of the customers.

I have detected with dozens of detectors for strickly Gold prospecting for thousands of hours in over 32 years and the Makro Gold Racer is the best that I used. I still have other gold detectors from other companies and I have a partner that runs other detectors and we check undug faint targets alot to see which detectors can pick them up. The gold racer Does get a better target response on faint targets, then other detectors. So that makes it get more depth in actuall detecting sessions. Other detectors just miss some of those faint targets especially swinging the coil too fast. All the Nok/Mak detectors that I use for gold prospecting are top notch for detecting in mineralization and depth.
There is some good aftermarket coils out there, but I think NEL coils for vlf detectors are the best way to go. Or coiltek coils for pi detectors. I exclusively tested all the NEL coils and sizes for gold prospecting on some other detectors through the years. Some just didnt do any improvement. The only one that I found that was a improvement was the the NEL sharpshooter 10x 5.5 coil. It does get a slight better depth over stock coils of the same size.
Maybe if you really need more depth in detecting then a Pulse induction dector like gpx 5000 or newer gpz 7000 would be what you are looking for.
Personally if an aftermarket company started making coils for the gold racer, I would not get one. I have all the coils made for gold racer and they all work very very well. I dont think you could find a better coil.
Good luck
