gold prices

Can any one tell me what I should expect to get for a 14K man's wedding band. I also have a small 14K ring with several small diamonds in it. Should I take the diamonds out of it before selling, or will I get a better price complete.
Thanks

The diamonds are not worth much at all. Unless you can find someone who will buy them from you. Jewelers won't even bother with you if you have less than a quarter carat diamond and after that they don't pay much for them. Its your call. The diamonds won't add much weight to the ring which is how the gold amount paid is calculated. If you could tell me the weight of the two rings in grams I could tell you what you should get for them. Or you can use Magz site to figure but you won't get that price. That amount is the total amount that a refiner will get for the gold not you. You should get about 80% of that price that the calculator site shows. Midwestrefinery pays a pretty fair price. I could offer you more but you will do fine with midwestrefinery. Hope this helps. Jim
