Gold pocket watch update and video:super:

Ok folks. Here it is. My best find to date and (in my opinion) my best video so far. Find it, dig it, open it, research it and treasure it... All live. Please "share" it "like" it and subscribe. Thanks for taking the time to watch. Happy hunting.

Thanks!

Great video and awesome history to go with it Congrats again very cool

Very well done! Now you've got me wondering if I should open the back of the watch I dug. It's missing the face cover but has the back intact. The face is white ceramic with an inset second hand dial and faintly noticeable 5, 10, 15, 20, etc. etched into the ceramic around the edge. Any painted lettering that may have been there is long gone. It has the winding stem at 12 O'clock and is a much smaller than a full sized version of pocket watch.

Great find!

Did you find then bury again so you could record it? To me I see a cut plug in the grass and the dirt is not in the least compacted around the watch.

Just asking because it looks this way.

Duke- I would say go for it! Get a serial number off that bad boy:cheers:

Sir digs- I had actually just dug a silver quarter inches away from the pocket watch and I thought for sure it was going to be another one. 12:46 - 13:46 @ 3 just like the quarter. So I busted out my phone because my gopro memory was full. The soil in this yard was kinda dry and made it difficult to cut a nice lookin plug.

Thanks for watching guys!

There's the quarter I found right next to it.

I'm soaking it in some oil right now to hopefully lubricate the hinge and make it easier.

Very nice video tones

Very nice video and history lesson! Well done :clapping:

Keep up the good work.
