Where does goes gold show up on the smart screen? I only have some itty bitty 10K gold to experiment with. How about big 24K rings and gold coins?
 
Hi Chris, the 24k man's ring I found came in
above zinc penney all the way to the top.

where DO gold coins show up on the smart screen & digital meter? Gold coin is the only type of coin i havent tested or found.
 
Five dollar gold piece i checked{air tested}read half way up on right side,some rings read just above nickel.
 
I read where a 5 dollar gold coin will ID like 3 nickles taped together.. try that and see...

I will build a US gold coin screen tonight and post a pic.. I have all the gold coins except 3 and 4 dollar, but we probably dont need to worry about findin any of those <IMG SRC="/forums/images/smile.gif" BORDER=0 ALT=":)"> If I dont post by 9PM remind me on the explorer forum
