Today Luke and I went for a local beach we've hit so many times, i wasn't expecting anything. Well thigs were pretty slow at first. We try several areas and i suddenly got a nice chunky silver bracelet. Well i taugh that would be the highlight of my day... I also found a silver dime... can't seem to find it right now...maybe it's in the car.
When we stopped for lunch, i had about 5 bucks in change and the silver.
We decided to give the place an other try in the afternoon. after a while... i saw that nice yellow color almost faling out of my scoop. I was neck deep in the water and the waves were killing me. But i was real glad to get that nice chunky gold chain. I,ve looked all over to see if any pendants were to be found... no luck.
We stopped for a chat with a fellow detectorist of the beach and a few minutes after i got in the water, i found the christ Gold pendant, not too far from where i got the chain. I've looked around but no dice, i mean no chain. A bit later, got a nice horn pendant (14K) and no trace of chain. Well 3 gold is a pretty good day, especially since i didn't expected any. I felt a bit sad for Luke since he only struck silver. Fortunatly for him, he got a nice 14K ring a little later.
We did a last stop at a local camp ground and i got a few more dollars in change. Ended the day with 3 gold, 2 silver jewels, i silver dime and a bit more than 21.00$ in clad. Boy am i exausted! But what a nice day and the "scenery" was great as well!
