Hi everyone, I don't believe I have ever posted on this particular forum but I wanted to share these pics with you all. My wife's great grandfather had a gold mine in Death Valley, California in the 1800's and this is one of the nuggets that came out of the mine. I also have lapis and quartz too from the mine.
When I hold it, I feel like I'm holding a piece of great American history and I can't help but think of all the blood, sweat and tears that the old miners gave for the yellow stuff!!! Again, I know how they felt though when I hold a chunk of gold, whether it be a nugget or ring or gold jewellery that I've just found or mined in the palm of my hand!!.....an adrenalin rush like no other!!!
