Also, depending upon where you set your tone break helps in trashy areas. Turning the iron volume down helps keep the trash from annoying you. Richard probably had it at full volume for the video camera.
You can hear a good high tone squeek amongst the iron, isolate the target and dig it.
Hunting in disc mode quiets it down the Gold as well.
Vista is a fast recovery machine and can really isolate targets.

Nice finds in the video.
 
cool video , I can tell you the Vista Gold did not leave much for the Racer so you might say the Vista gold hunted out the spot I like how that high tone broke thru
